Payment schedule
Permanent grants are paid in the first week of the month. The SRD R370 grant runs in a separate month-end window and is confirmed per beneficiary.
SRD R370 (separate window)
24-30 Nov 2026
Confirmed and revised by SASSA on 15 October 2026. Older Persons move to Friday 30 October because 4 November is a public holiday for the Local Government Elections. Disability: 2 Nov, Children: 3 Nov, review-process: 5 Nov.
SRD R370 (separate window)
23-31 Dec 2026
Provisional — permanent grants follow the first-week pattern. SRD batches are expected from 23 December so money lands before Christmas. Confirm final dates with SASSA.
The November schedule is a one-off arrangement
Older Persons grants moved to 30 October 2026 because 4 November is a public holiday for the Local Government Elections. This does not mean future pension payments will permanently move into the previous month. A payment date is the release date; the time it reflects in your account depends on your bank or payment method.
